Ding ding ding! Fibrohugs has a project going not just to raise funds, but to help get the word out about fibromyalgia to others.

They are looking for recipe contributions for their FM cookbook. Anyone with FM can contribute. The deadline is the end of February.

The mission of FibroHugs is to offer a place where persons with Fibromyalgia can find understanding, knowledge, and support in their daily battle with this painful disease. To offer support, not only for the patient but also to their loved ones, in an attempt to help all understand the effects of this illness. It is also our hope to bring awareness of this disease that a cure will be found.

If you have some time, here's a great little project for you. Get your Fibro comments out to the World while sharing your favorite recipe at the same time.

Our first Volume pre-sold well over 300 books right from the start and are still selling today, don't forget to get your copy. I'd love to see our Volume 2 do twice as good because that means more and more people are getting the grip of our reality and what we have to deal with day after day. Buy one for yourself and get an extra one for your friend or Family Member and let them read about so many others dealing with exactly the same trials as you are.

I've had so much feedback from people who said that it was the Fibro stories in the Cook Book that were responsible for their Family members to finally "Get It". Comments like "Do you really feel like how you explained it in here?" and "These people have the same symptoms as you, maybe you really are sick" and other total validations for friends and Family.

As I said before we are accepting recipe submissions from everyone that suffers from Fibromyalgia and have received some very nice stories from Members of WebMD, ImmuneSupport, and other respectable web sites so please feel free to post this on other message boards or forward this email on to them. The sooner we all group together and become one voice the better.

We plan on closing the recipe submissions by the end of February, unless we get enough to fill the book sooner, so hurry up and get yourself represented by sending in your recipe. We expect to have the Book completed and shipped out in June, possibly sooner if we get enough submissions immediately. We'll keep you informed of our progress as we go.

There is an easy form for you to full out and everything can be done right from your browser. Don't forget to fill out the last field about how Fibro has affected you because that is the part that is most important for others to read.

We also have some Articles and Stories that are a "must read" that will be included because they are so valuable to the reader base that we are trying to attract. We're also attempting to get some of the latest Research info to have included to add that extra knowledge and validation for everyone because sadly I still see newly diagnosed patients coming into our chat and forums saying "I thought it was all in my head". I will not rest until that comment is not thought of anymore.
