Ireland was, in the past, a very culrured country. Even before the arrival of the Anglo-Saxons, you have the development of Celtic Christinianity in Ireland. Wealthy monasteries producing texts, books, etc. on the Gospels, and becoming centres of knowledge and learning. While the rest of the continent of Europe was plagued with wars and death, Ireland was a safe place where Christinaity was kept safe and allowed to grow.

Ireland saved Christianity.

And if it weren't for you bloody English, coming in, massacring the Irish population, forcing them westward into the fringes of the country, forcing your language over them, uprooting former landlords and replacing them with the protestant heretic trash, then Ireland might be a much stronger country than it is today.

I support the IRA. I want what little poison, disgusting little Ulster Unionists, driven out. Ireland is not theirs. They stole it from us and they should be driven out.

But the Irish government is too fucked up to know what it's doing either.

No, the Irish population would be much larger than it is today, and it would play a much larger role in internaitonal politics.

Britain has supressed and broken Ireland. I am glad that we have won our freedom for the 26 counties in the south. Now we need to finish the job, and take the remaining 6.

I hold Britain responsible for the political situation there now.

I'd be surprised if you didn't start just massacring the native Irish population in Ulster when they finally do hold a majority again.
