UVF, UDA, LVF, UFF, RHD, IRA, INLA, RIRA, CIRA. Since partition groups of this sort have sought to terrorise people (both Catholic and Protestant) incessantly. They've maimed and murdered countless numbers of human beings, and for what? Oh yeh, because they're Protestant or Catholic- sounds reasonable!
Today I feel very happy and I am delighted to see de-escalaton of violence compared to the sinister days of the '70s. For those who want to keep N. Ireland in the dark ages and for those who espouse violence and sectarianism ask yourself 'what do I hope to achieve?'
So what do I now about the UDA? Answer: they're murderers, ill educated thugs who now little or nothing about politics or N. Irish history (this also includes their Republican counterparts).
