Subject: Teen Suicide

Recently my 15 year old tried to take her life with a Tylenol overdose. She is the second family member to try such a thing. The other was her cousin who is about 7 years older than her. She immediately called me to let me know what she had done and was hospitalized overnite and then released. She is now starting therapy for alcohol and drugs. I am wondering what the success rate is for a teen of her age. Also what is the risk of re-occurence for both her and my nephew? Also is there a conference slated for 2004?
