Subject: .::.Impression?.::.

.::. A young girl of 17 enters the Sands with a smile. She falters at the doorway, smile fading. There wasn't anyone here. She bites the edge of her lip, not too sure if she wanted to go on alone. Her family was counting on her. She shakes her head and continues on, treding over the burning Sands lightly. If she feels the heat through her thin sandels, she gives no sign of it. Her light hazel eyes sparkle in the heat, obviously enjoying it. She runs up to Sierian and J'bari, dipping into a small curtsey .::. "It's a pleasure to meet you both. I'm Rinali," .::. She smiles and walks off a little ways, standing alon on the Sands. It bothered her somewhat to be alone. Nobody wanted to be alone, but the one night kept coming back. .::.

The wind blasted hard, throwing the rain up against her. Rinali pulled her hood down in an effort to keep the rain fron hitting her. The act was not completely in vain. Spotting a tree through the mist, she trudged along until she reached it. She sank to the bottom of it, curling up against the bitter weather. Her home... It had been demolished by an angry Holder. He had envyed her father for his luck and tore down their house, taking their livestock. All but one herding dog and a horse. She had ridden the horse until the Holder's searchmen found her and crippled the horse. Then with the dog, affectionatly labeled Mear, she found her way here. But Mear has been lost. Now, without anyone, she was alone, a refugee, running from the searchmen. She shivered from the cold. It couldn't get much worse than this. She finally fell into a light sleep.
She felt a cold nose rub against her arm. A whine. She opened her eyes slowly, swollen from crying. "Mear?" Mear yapped and licked her face. Rinali wrapped her arms around his neck happily. "It is you Mear!" She stood up, hand clutchling his scruff and limping around the tree. A rainbow colored the sky in brilliant hues, forming a magical bridge to the end of the rainbow. With a laugh, she started to run, to the other end where she would find a place to call home....

.::. Rinali snapped out of her daydream. Yes, she had found a place to call home. The couple had taken her in and loved her just like she was their own. Their son had always wanted to ride a dragon someday, but had to take care of the home. He had made her promise that she would come back one day. On a dragon .::.
