Patience! With an attitude like that, you'd be lucky to last the first edge of a fall. Wait for the proper training!

R'kan places a hand on Sokorth's nose. "Sokorth, she's just eager. But yes, there is a lot to learn before you are ready for thread. Now I will train you on going between. Apart from taking part in threadfall, this is the most dangerous thing a dragon can do. It is easy to get lost forever in between. So make sure you follow my instructions exactly."

"To go between, you need to picture the area you want to go, and direct your dragon there. You need to picture it exactly. The last detail wrong, and you could be lost in time or between forever."

Sokorth nods, staring at Piryth again.

R'kan continues. "Now, Mount your dragons again, and spread out over the barracks. I want to you become airborne, then hover by backwinging and downstrokes to keep steady. I will give you a picture through Sokorth, of the Bowl, and you shall follow me there. Once you make it to the Bowl, I want you to land and allow your dragons to hunt. Going between for the first time takes a lot of energy."

He mounts Sokorth with ease, and Sokorth launches them into the air. He hovers, and R'kan concentrates on the bowl, especially a large flat rock at the lower end. Sokorth relays this to all the dragons for them to give their riders. R'kan gives the signal to go between, Sokorth and R'kan then blinking between.
