They blink in and out numerous times, before finally, stopping but once to rest, though instead of landing he hovered for an extra instant before resuming his blinking between. Then they reappeared again, this time Xanth, having seen the green's dive, dives himself, tucking his wings to his side, J'xom held on, chilled to the bone, finally Xanth pulled up and set his talons in the correct postion before landing, letting his slightly winded rider off, still alert. J'xom grinned faintly, rubbing his hands together for some warmth after the times between and watched.
