Subject: {*Moans quietly* Fine, fine. Make me fail school, Alli...}

{I'm very sensitive about my writing, greenwriter, and I'm not taking that comment lightly. It's not like I mean to be so "unenthusiastic", but you try being active in a few RPGs while having to work on four projects for school. S'not the easiest thing in the world. But since you DID make that comment, it's not passing unnoticed. You arn't the onl one ticked, Alli. Is this any better for you?}


-All'ndar walked in, a mug of klah clutched protectivly between his hands. He bites back as yawn as he makes his way over to his dragon. The bronze turned his head and acknowleged his rider.-

~Hello, All'ndar. You just missed the show.~
'The show? I didn't know about anything like that'
~It was a little unexpected, but you still missed it over a silly cup of klah~
'I needed it, thankyou very much. Now, tell me what happened.'
~Oh, Delth flew.~
'Delth FLEW? As in, flying?'
~Yes, that's what I mean.~
'But, the WeyrlingMaster hasn't said we could'
~She's old enough~
'But without the proper instructions...'
~Oh give it a rest and drink.~


-All'ndar mutters something about independent dragons and continues to sip on his klah. The bronze turned his attention back to Delth, watching her. He wraps his tail around his rider's heel and starts to move in their direction. All'ndar blinks in surprise, but other than that he just clings to his cup. Dialith stops and looks over his shoulder at him sheepishly.-

~Sorry, All'ndar...~
'All you had to do was ask'
~Okay...can we go over there? I wanna know what it was like~
'Sure, but don't get any ideas.'


-He unwrapped the bronze tail and stood up. He dusted himself off as he walked over to Allirea and Delth, Dialith trailing behind him. He nods to both of them-
"Pretty fancy flying for a hatchling, Delth. I'd say you did a nice job."

~It looked like fun. Was it?~


-All'ndar glanced at his dragon. The bronze looked very much like an over-excited puppy. He shook his head, it was almost too sorry to look at him. The poor bronze wanted nothing more than to fly, but was a little too....what's a good word for it....sloppy in his acting. He'd have to teach that dragon to hide his emotions. Silly things they are, those emotions.-

-The JuniorWeyrwoman wakened to find herself staring at an ant crawling across the ground. Rinali pushed herself up off the ground, noticing how dirty she was. How in the world did she get here? She had been leaning against Lilith when she--Lilith! The girl turned to search out the gold. She found her on her hind claws, staring intently at Delth and Allirea. Rinali stood and walked over to her, sliding her arms around the hatchling's middle.-

'Lilith? Why did you throw me off like that?'
~Delth...~


-Rinali cringed at Lilith's tone, wondering what could make Lilith hate anyone so much.-

'What did she do?'
~She flew...~
'She did?'
~Yes. Right in front of me.~
'....'
~The little green thinks she's better than me, does she? Well, two can play at that game!~


-The gold spred her wings, causing Rinali to lose her grip on her lifemate. The wedged head turned, red eyes swirling angrily, warning Rinali to stay away. The Junior stifled a gasp, realizing in fear what Lilith was about to do.-

'Lilith! No!'
~Don't stop me! I have to show the green that I'm running this place, not her.~
'But you'll only make a fool out of yourself if you try to fly now, you're not old enough or ready.'
~I am, too!~
'Lilith, please. Don't fly. For me?'
~But...~


-Lilith stood, wings still outstretched, looking between Rinali and Delth in confusion. Rinali took the opportunity and closed the distance between her and her dragon, climbing on the gold's knee and soothing her. Her hands moved slowly in circles on the dragon's middle as she whispered quiet words of help to Lilith. Soon, Lilith curled up dejectedly, sending a final hurt glance at Delth. Rinali started to oil the gold until she was sure the dragon was safely sleeping. She put away the oil then sat by her dragon, blinking back tears. That had been close. She could have lost Lilith to some foolish thought. The prideful gold wasn't ready yet, and wouldn't be able to do anything. Delth had only added wood to the fire of Lilith's desire to be the best. Rinali shook her head. A prideful dragon for a meek girl. It didn't seem to fit. But then again, she never seemed to fit with anything. She had always been Rinali the Unclean. Cast away from every home she could've had, rejected as an outcast. Why? All because her father strangled her sister. She had gone mute, but managed to live. Her older brother had taken her sister away to a Weyr with promises to return. But he never did. So Rinali left, searching for the same fate. Anything to get away from her old life. She had found Xandu, but not her brother. And what was so bad about it was that she couldn't remember his name. But she would find him. Rinali let the last wisps of thought drift fomr her as she summoned Denshy. The bronze popped in from between with a chirrup, landing on her shoulder. The girl rubbed his eye ridge with one hand while sending him a picture. The little 'lizard 'rupped again and blinked out to go find the person. Rinali sighed. Maybe now she could finally rest in peace...-
