Hvis du har et bilde av en dobermann du syns er passe, kan du bare sette dette inn i en tomt word-dokument og forstørre bildet til det blir pixlete (at det bare blir firkanter). Så kan du printe ut bildet når det er sånn, og så kan du tegne av mønsteret på et vanlig ruteark (sånn skrivebokark med kvadratiske ruter) (du bare teller ruter og tegner dem inn)og vips, så har du et mønster. Hvis det er farge på bildet, og du ønsker å strikke i farger, så bare tegner du inn fargene i det nye mønsteret så har du oversikt.
