幾年前開始，阿陸也和台灣人一樣，吃完年夜飯後，初一就開始出門渡假，島上到處是攜老扶幼的阿陸，這和春節時，大家一窩蜂跑到墾丁，導致塞車的情形是一樣的。
少數沒回家過年繼續開業的餐廳都摩拳擦掌，準備痛宰自己的老鄉，呆玩郎最好避開，免得受池魚之殃：不但無雞可吃，還被當肥羊。
