Sorry it's taken so long to get more info up here.

Current status:

My webpage is still down. I have not yet managed to
put it back up through I have had a few offers from
players. I'm looking for (preferably) a unix webserver
to put it on for free. The site has to have good
bandwidth though, cause I do get a large amount of
traffic (mostly from the funny pictures section). If

I just sent final delivery to my client-from-hell today
so I have finally had some free time to myself to
dedicate to DC. The box I bought for DC was just a
total pain the ass (Compaq servers suck, don't buy any)
so I gave up and just took my old personal PC that I
was going to use at home for a personal server and set
that box up (after getting a new NIC card, and getting
Redhat 7.1, and ... ) The box is up and running at
207.91.111.13. You can ping the address to see what
your ping times will be. They should be much better
than they were at ad1440. The box is located on a
mostly unused T1 that goes directly into the local
fiber-hub (This should mean less lag for just about
everyone). I will be updating 'dcastle.org' and
'dcastle.net' to point there as soon as I figure out
the networksolutions convoluted webpage.

The MUD itself is not up. Just the box. I have it up
to test security so it isn't hacked withint 48 hours of
putting it on the net like last time. (I didn't even
give out the IP address last time either...geez) If
any of you are crackers and want to spend the time,
please let me know if you see any vulnerabilities. I
know it's impossible to be 100% secure but I'd rather
get it as locked down as tight as possible before I
start development again so we don't end up getting
hacked by some pissed-off 13 year old that got RK'd by
Random.

I'm sure you all still have alot of questions that I'm
not answering but that's the current status of how
things are. Thank you all for being patient with me.

After reading some of the other posts on here I figure
I should give a few more details.

1. No real work has happened for the last 2 months or
so. I have been working on IRL work. Some of us do
that for a living. I also have a non-DC life and have
been enjoying my new motorcycle license and not-so-new
motorcycle. I was getting some nookie for a while
(single again) and had a few days of vacation at the
beach. The lack of updates were a direct result from
the lack of time to do work on DC for all of you. Deal
with it. If you want to pay my salary, I'll work on DC
full time for you. (I'm serious about that one too ^_^)

2. There's no conspiricies of any sort going on,
except that thing where people hang on my nutsack. I
enjoy that, and it helps me think when I'm stressed.
