A small temple can be located within the dense forests of the West. It is overgrown with vines but the statue of the Vae Spirit hidden within it's marble columns is amazingly visible. If you are a CoinShifter who wants to finalize and have your Vae with you, present him or her to the statue, and the Vae Spirit will use them to form a coin and finalize your species. Glory -- Phamiile - Yukinae ( Kyrusk ), 17:44:33 09/22/04 Wed
Cantering hooves can be heard long before their owner is seen. Two new, unused coins jangle in the leather pouch tucked within his wings: manta ray and allosaurus. Compensation for two months. Their presence is comforting. Yukinae has abandoned her perch upon Phamiile's haunches - she's grown rapidly in the past few weeks. The Shifter clicks out onto the remnants of stone, and he settles himself down by the tallest remaining pillar, leaning against its steady, rough surface. Life courses through this place of creation and ending; Phamiile feels it coursing through his bones like the currents of life. Four feathered wings flex out, the petite Vae perched upon the edge of one. Kyrusk then flutters down to the earth to join the Kilven. Both peer up at him, sharing a lamplike golden gaze.

Phamiile smiles down at them. He swings his meager belongings down onto the ground and opens the small leather pouch, pouring one of the coins into his palm. Hazel gaze roams over the intricate etchings before he strikes a regal pose, clamps a fist over the golden chip, and lets the raw DNA rush into him like a virus controlled by him. It was always such a strange feeling. He bites his lower lip as his body shifts, alters, contorts.. elegance increasing, body now able of incredible acrobatics.. fins replacing lower wings and the upper ones crawling up to his human shoulders. Antennae burst from his forehead as he remembers them from the Monarch butterfly coin, and he gives a tiny wince.. he hadn't meant for them to come in so quickly and painfully. Back when he was human, he always knew his blood to be crimson and he had not really suspected it changed with his shifts. However, the visible veins upon the durable membrane of his fins ran with pure sunlight. The membranes fold up against the bones and those furl against his back. The next coin he uses sparingly - swift adjustments to his musculature and tail mostly. The allosaurus coin planted something of a hidden time bomb in Phamiile's skull, however, one that he does not know exists.

The Shifter smiles down to his Linkeds, before laying himself down beside them. He drops the used coins back into the pouch with all the others - butterfly, unicorn, cardinal, shark, chipmunk, tiger.. and now manta ray and allosaurus. He ties the bag up and drops it into his larger satchel. From this he procures a blanket; tatty and thin, but large enough to cover most of himself. He leans his human torso against Yukinae's soft shoulder, hugging the small Kyrusk to his chest, and tosses the sheet over all three of them before drifting his mind into the night's sweet slumber.

Cloven hooves fall soft and quiet in the mossy green of this western wood. The Shifter has not come to finalize.. he's not sure when he'll be ready for that, but it is not this day. Phamiile's graceful body holds a slow, measured gait.. he had been traveling further and further from the city to.. get away from the carnage. He found bare relief.. until now. Instinct and heart were guiding him in part, but it was also Kyrusk, who's petite purple frame was perched upon the slender haunches of the mixed-up creature. A hand brushes multicoloured hair from his emotive, hazel-gold eyes, which are widened at the sight of the glorious statue and the marble columns and the place that actually seems alive. Phamiile begins towards it once more, hooves clopping on slabs of marble taht had long-ago fallen. He settles down onto his equine side, wings folded and heavyset tail curling around his legs, while he props his humanoid torso up on one arm, the other resting at his waist. Kyrusk crawls to curl up between the Shifter's (equinely) feathered forelegs, and the man bends to stroke the Vae with an absent hand, all the while gazing up at the statue. Long minutes pass, before he finally speaks, in a soft murmur.

'Oh Vae Spirit.. can you give me a sign? What should I do?'

( Maybe give him one? xD I wanna start a religion with him. )

The pair awkardly make their way up to the temple. Kyroz looks around, Caraf perched shyly on his shoulder. She extends her wings and drifts to the ground. Kyroz nudges her and murmers, "Go on. Don't be afraid, I'm here." She snorts and glides over to the statue, cautiosly landing a few feet from it. She walks forth and looks up at it, extending her bright wings. Kyroz watches her with excitement, and nervousness in his eyes.

Species Name: Enacra
Species Description: This species is a jaguar furred biped. It's long antelope ears have excellent hearing, and their eyesight, and sense of smell have also improved. On their backs are large, silvery feathered wings, ranging from 5 feet, to 7 feet. Their iternal bodies are completely built for flight. Their teeth are long and sharp, and produe a deadly poison. They have human eyes and can possibly have human hair.

The small PhiaShip manages to land near the temple, Isac and Edduan both swearing softly as a branch clips the hull. A hatch on the side opens for Edduan to get out. She flies to the temple eagerly, four wings lending her speed, Rowan flapping wildly along behind her to keep up. Approaching the statue, she whispers to Rowan.
"Go on, go on. Stop being shy so and do your Vae thing."
Stretching his wings to their eleven foot span, heglides over to the statue and waits.
"Let the finalization begin," says Edduan.

Species Name: Sekhmelith
Description: A biped with still basically human body structure, extremely tough skin, and an extraordinarily long lifespan. Fingernails turn into wickedly sharp, retractable black claws, and feet become a dragon's scaly talons. It has a lion's head and flame red mane (even females have the mane), but retains humanlike eyes and speech, though growls, snarls, and roars are commonplce. The creature has four wings, one pair is avian, and one pair draconic, both pairs are mixed fiery colors with an iridescent sheen. These are surrounded by an aura of supernatural flames controlled by the individual. The tail is leonine with two long, graceful, peacock-esque tailfeathers of brilliant hue extending from it. The once-CoinShifter has an affinity for sun and fire and an immunity to burns, as well as a dragon's flaming breath. When slain, a Sekhmelith falls to ashes and is reborn three days later. However, this only works once.

A brown-haired coinshifter lands on the ground in front of the statue. The expression on her face is a mix between excitement and apprehension. She walks up to the statue and stands there for a moment. "Okay, Mala. Do what ever it is you do. I'm ready." she murmurs, her voice a little shaky. She holds out her arms and the blue and white vae chirps softly and climbs down to her wrist and launches, hovering by the statue. Jeleta stands there, nervously shifting her wait from foot to foot. "I hope this doesn't hurt!" she murmurs softly and waits for whatever happens to happen.

Species Name: Dantalope
Species Description:
A humanoid species (just barely). The dantelope has scales covering it's back, arms, and lower legs. The rest of it's body is covered by golden-brown fur, the same color as the scales. It has gills over it's ribs so it can breath underwater. A razor sharp fin runs down it's back. Two thick ivory fangs protrude from the corners of the mouth going a little past the chin. Thick, sharp white talons replace the finger and toenails of the human. A small pouch is placed on the stomach of the coinshifter. The species ranges from 6' to 6'5 feet tall and all dantelope have 4' to 4'5 long tails. Draconic, golden brown wings come out of the shoulderblades. They have the swirling blue eyes of a dragon. They have a pair of antlers popping through the hair an inch behind the temples. They also have a small snout which holds the nose and mouth. The hands and feet are tough and sturdy, easy to run on. The back is slightly different which allows them to run on four legs or stand erect. They have pointed ears with better hearing.

A deeply red-furred Kilven spreads his broad wings and lands smoothly, finally adjusted to the way his new body flies. A golden-furred canine leaps off his back, stretching slender but strong limbs in a glorious exercise of her new form. Channa holds out one black-white barred arm and a small but gorgeous Vae alights on it. "Igen, sweetie," the bipedal Coinshifter murmurs, "do your stuff. This is my final form. Go on, sweets. To the statue." The ebony Vae spreads her twelve-foot wingspan and flutters towards the marble Vae, landing at its feet and looking up quizzically. Channa, handpaws clasped tightly, waits for... something to happen.

Species Name: Ch'sha [after Channa herself and her sister, S'sha]
Species Description: A five-foot, slender, leanly-muscled bipedal canine with golden-brown fur, white on stomach, and white-black striped on legs, arms, and face. Can have humanish eyes and hair. They have excellent eyesight and sense of smell, as well as the long antelope-ears to go with their good hearing. They can go on their hind legs or all fours, though this isn't overly apparent in their looks. Their body resembles that of a Wild Dog anthro.
