Subject: A small thing

The small balck and white Gogona slipped as she tried to run up a bank. She beat her wings strongly until she was at a safe place. A small hoof print caught her sharp eyes. Lowering her twisted muzzle to the ground, she gave herself help by lifting a few feet off the ground, keeping her weight off of her twisted leg.
She brought down a small buck after about three times of trying. She stripped the bones clean, and left the rest in a little heap under a bush. She went back to the stream to wash, and drink. Flapping her white feathers in the water, Wingdrift tried to fly. She hissed as she remembered that water weighed her wings down. She scrabbled up the side, sweating by the time she got on the top of the steep bank.
She went to a cave she had noted easrlier, and made a soft bed. Covering her frail, young body with her white wings, the young Gogona laid down, her head resting on one prefect leg, one terribly twisted. Her tail, now strangly still, currled up tightly behind her hindlegs. She kept her good paw on a small, smoothe playstone.
Only two feathers fluttered on her left wing as she breathed. A soft fluttering. she didn;t even realize when a small herd of the small animal she had hunted but a few minutes ago thundered by.
