Donnan watched him go. He turned and headed deeper into the forge to work on their bows and arrows. (OOC: I'm not going to go into too much detail because of time constraints but this is how Donnan constructs the bows.) BIC: Donnan selected two yew shafts and quickly whittled them smooth. He took bow string and attached it to the sticks in a way that held them firmly in the curved shape. He had a pile of arrow shafts without their tips. Donnan liked to do things ahead of time. It usually saved time when he had people waiting on orders. He took several molds and poured molten steel into them. He had a nice system going where while one mold was cooling he was pouring into the other ones. By the time the first was cool he could take it out and attach it to the shafts. Then the others would be cool he could attach them and start over. Soon the shafts were finished. He then set to work weaving the quivers. It was a time consuming process that had taken Donnan years to learn. One wrong move while doing this and the whole thing could come unraveled. But the finished product was very durable and would last a good long time. Donnan recalled when he had first been taught he had a way of messing it up every time. But now his hands moved swiftly and confidently. Soon the quivers were finished too. He had made adeep, dark red one for Abigail (to match her hair) and a brilliant monochromatic blue one for Blue (for his eyes). Next he loaded the arrows into the quivers and set them next to the bows. (OOC: I'm ready whenever you two want to come back.)
