Subject: A song for the dancers...

Alarinne stood and took in a deep breath. She no longer wanted to be off to the side watching the others have fun. Opening her timid little mouth she began to sing, with the sweet voice of any twelve year old girl, only hers was even more sweet to the ears. Her voice echoed heavenly in the Grand Hall.
She sang of joy, of sorrow, of courage and victories, of life and death, and of many things. She sang with a dreamy look on her face, her violet eyes shining with what seemed to be tears. When her last note died down into silence, she quickly wiped her eyes and looked around to make sure no one had seen her tears. The girl always felt this way when she sang of certain things. Then she sat down quietly, feeling a bit more satisfied.
