With her blue leaping on ahead of her, she comes racing onto the Flat, bronze clinging for dear life onto her hair. Not able to take another step the girl is about to collapse when the dragon realizes her condition. With concern in his eyes, he goes to her side, watching as she falls to the ground in a panting heap.

You're slow. He notes in a matter-of-fact way.

She takes a deep breath. "I'm out of shape, that's all." Katinka grins at Shuth. "You beat me by far, and you're only a couple of days old!"

He gives her a disdainful twitch of his head. I am a dragon.

"I know that!" She hugs him with a fond laugh, and he receives her hug with a show of tolerance.

Feeling a bit left out, Alonso gives a loud trill. Katinka holds out a hand for the flit to climb onto. Dragon and girl look at the flit. The flit looks back. Then she smiles and scratches the bowridge of the bronze.

"Poor Alonso." Feeling a bit better now, she crosses her legs, flit on one knee, dragon head on the other. "Now what? Training probly(no, that is NOT a mistake. *Grins*) won't start for a while, so we're left with lots of free time."

Sleep? Shuth gives an undignified yawn, and Alonso responds with one of his own.

She grins at them. "Sleep sounds fine, you both sleep, I'll watch." Though two agree, and as she watches, their eyes slowly close one after the other, and both are soon asleep.

Leaning back against a conveniently placed rock, she shuts her own eyes, a hand resting on the blue's head as she falls into a light drowse.
