I know that, he answers patiently. She feels him silently call back the flit before returning his attention to her. Adjust those straps, tighten them, I think. 'You're becoming an expert quickly, aren't you?' He doesn't respond, just waits until she has finished doing what he had told her to.

"I guess we go now." Excitement and giddiness all at once, they were going to go between...she couldn't wait. "Well," she says, trying to keep the eagerness from her voice, "let's go." He chuckles but suppresses any comments he might have, running into the air as they had practiced. The air beat her hair around her as they lifted off, her clinging to whatever hold her hands could find. It was...wonderful!

And they were gone.
