Y'mir scrambled over to the bronzerider, a pot of numbweed slung under his arm. 'Here you are, sir,' he said, handing the pot to K'ios with a slight grin. 'The wound doesn't look infected, so you can just apply the 'weed...' He blinked, then flashed the rider a sheepish grin. 'Erg... forgot we've got to clean it, sir. Be right back...'

{{You've fallen into habit,}} Meredith remarked.
~~What?~~
{{You called him 'sir'.}}
~~So? He's a bronzerider.~~
{{So what? You're a rider, and just as important as he is. No need to call him sir.}}
~~Whatever you say...~~

By then, Y'mir had fetched a bowl of warm water and several clean cloths. He dashed back to where K'ios was waiting and carefully began to cleanse the wound. The wound had not had time to get infected, and so did not require extensive cleaning, but still Y'mir was meticulous. At last the greenrider patted the injury dry and began to slather numbweed on K'ios's arm, yet again marveling at the sensation of numbness that affected his fingers. Y'mir then wrapped the soft cloth bandages about the bronzerider's arm and secured it with a knot. 'There!' he said, well-satisfied with the job. 'Will you be returning to Threadfall? I don't know that I'd recommend it...'
