Subject: Glanicng back over his shoulder, the man returns for his dog.

Entering slowly, he finds the slender Jexa sprawled across the bed, her belly full of pups. Raising a plaintive look to her master, she emits a soft whine and tries to rise. The man bends on one knee and speaks soothingly to her, trailing his fingers along her forehead and grinning. "Jent! Here she is, let's get her out." He calls behind him softly, beckoning the other with one hand.

"I'll take Calest and head for the pastures, dad. Luck to Jexa." Mylak notes, calling to the male. The larger herding dog sends a glance to his mate before a well timed click from his master brings him to heel. "We'll be back to see her, boy." He adds as they leave.

"Easy now, let's take her on up to the soft place, now." Veystak adds, cradling the female's head gently in his hands.
