Subject: She eyes him, her eyes wild with fury..

She reared, leting out a death-defying shriek into the humid air, a call so loud it completely drowned out the sound of the thunder and rain falling to the ground. Her eyes were wide and furious, her muscles rippled and contracted beneath her soaked, shimmering jet black coat, her tail, limp with moisture, snapping from left to right, her mane plastered to her arched neck, she landed with a terrorizing thud, her knees buckling, just barely able to hold her up, she gallops off, deep into her land, her hooves spalshing mud and rainwater up on her sides and chest, she snorted with every stride, like a locomotive, she just wouldn't stop. She continued sprinting across the drenched prairie, as if running with the storm, the clouds rolling along with her, lightning streaking down from the sky, setting the grasses afire, the thunder crashing like mighty symbols in the air, she continued running. She felt no pain now, even though her body was far past her limit, she didn't care. She just had to keep running.

Her hooves crashed against the mud and flattened-by-the-storm foliage, her gallop began to fade off-balance, for pain was slowly setting into her mind once again. She slowed to a trot, a long, fast, extended trot. She lowered her head so from between her ears to the tip of her tail, she was a straight, flat line. She looked as if she was a Harness Racer.. her extended trot was blisteringly fast, faster than the usual extended trot, that was rounded, slowed, overworked. She was strung out, her hooves flashing in a quick ryhtmn beneath her, the storm slowly subsided, few and few lightning streaks lighting up the sky, fewer and fewer great sounds of thunder filling her ears. The rain was now just barely drizzling, a hot steam was coming off her overworked muscles, as looked as if she were almost on fire. She looked breifly from her left to her right, the beautiful plain was almpost completely ruined.. burnt folaige, mud, and big flooded areas everywhere. She blinked, continueing her racing-trot, her mind going back in time to when it was beautiful, where she'd lay in the sun.. basking in her glory.. talking to her best friend.. Jupiter Hurr... "No!" She snapped to herself, coming out of the little dreamworld, "That isn't real, any of it! Just a puny memory!" She sighed, her chest heaving, she finally pulled to a stop. She let herself collapse into the soft mud, sighing, she watched as the very few alive bits of her land were burned from lightning strikes. She closed her eyes, letting the rain soothe her. "Solitude..." She whispered softly to herself, "It is and will always be my best companion."
