Dear Sir,
I thank you very much for your message. Yes, Canada would be honoured to have Greenland join us. In 1999 a self governing Inuit homeland named Nunavut was created. Together, Greenland and Nunavut could qualify to be a province of Canada. Thus, the Inuit peoples would have a full measure of internal self government, and be fully represented in the Canadian Parliament in Ottawa. I belive that such an arrangement for the Inuit peoples of the arctic would benefit all the various cultural groups that comprise the peoples of Canada.
We look forward to the day that the Inuit peoples can be a vibrant and prosperous province of the Canadian Empire.
Many Thanks,
Ronald Dykeman
