Those who appear to be lost...
Can still be saved...
If one comes forward...
To take their name...

Basically, these are the riders that were lost to the whim of the Active Check. If there's a rider up here that shouldn't be, or that the player would rather not give to another active player, then please post a message saying so. Here's what you do.

If you want to give up one of your own chars, or reclaim one of your own that's on this list, then just post a message saying so. If you're giving one up, please tell us the rider name and gender and the dragon name and color.

If you'd like to save a rider, post a message telling Kitty which one(s). We'll approve or disapprove the take and remove him/her from the list. Please don't RP the rider(s) until you have either Kitty's okay. If you want a bronzerider or a queenrider, please post a nice, long RPing sample with your request. Golds and Bronzes aren't handed out lightly, you know! ^_^

If you really want it, ask in your request for some information on the riders you want, or their dragons. It isn't sure that someone will be able to help, but it's possible.

As of 7/24/05 the new list is up, and adoptions may resume.

L'andro & brown Sanoth. They're weyrlings "now"; I don't know what size time-jump Kitty will make, so they might not be by the time she gets that done.

Posting here since I'm essentially going to drop him in the Activity Check I think Kitty plans to do, but I want to make sure his stats are linked somewhere that they can be seen. He's sort of an obligation character (the full story's in his joining post), and so I'd like whoever picks him up to try and play him with the personality as I joined him with in mind - not expecting a lot, but "quiet, polite, and awkward around women" shouldn't be impossible. =^^;;=

Dragon information (from my character sheets):
DRAGON: Sanoth - brown. Compact and efficiently built, mud-brown undertones overlaid with ripples of lighter brown and dark mohogany, with a subtle glow. Smooth tenor "voice", fairly unobtrusive and "quiet". Extremely fastidious, tends to be easy-going but fusses about how L'andro cares for himself... probably will turn out pretty lazy.
His personality is probably flexible, though, as he might change a bit as he ages. Do what you like! ^_^

I love this one, but...I have to let her go. No one to play with! And, whoever adopts her, please change her color to green. It's absurd that we have two golds before we have a decent population of bronzes and browns.

I'm letting go of the dolphineers completely, I'm afraid. No one seems to be interested, even with the new board that I announced at the beginning of 2006. I'll keep the boards up, and maybe Odette(maybe, if you convince me), but otherwise, almost the entire hall is up for grabs.

You might want to do that, Kitty. Have a little ~*~ symbol or something for any character that has stats, so people won't be hesitant to make new stats or not.

This Board is way overdue for an update, therefore until our next Active Check (probably starting this weekend), I'm going to ask that people only offer Riders up for adoption, rather than try to Adopt. This is due to the fact that likely as not, the Riders on the list up there aren't availible anymore. Thanks for your understanding.

wow... i used to play here a long time ago. i'm surprised to see it so active still - no offense or anything. what i mean is that there's a lot of games that usually die out after a while and i'm impressed. anyway. i'm back so i wanted to adopt:

Sad to say there are two char that I can't find the energy to play anymore... I just can't get into them as well as I used to, and... well, here is goes.

The first is my dolphineer, Sokia with female dolphin Tempera. She's a Jouneywoman.
I'm transferring her two flits, blue Nirava and green Kilana, to C'lin, though I am giving his two flit blue Zaffy and green Emika to whomever gets Sokia.

Also, I have lost the spirit to play Beth, who is a candidates and also owns a filly runner named Whisper who is all black, and two flits: brown Chirari and green Enshoku. They go to whomever wants her, I'm not transferring.

So, it's very sad to admit, but I don't have the spirit to play them i feel I've lost their personality, and that they should go to someone who could play them better. So... ya... If anyone's interested, I can give them info...

Okay, the no other places, that just enforces one of our rules, no places from the book. No pets or flits, just means that I want to see how you type Rinali interacting with Lilith, with out a distraction. The age limit, I just want to avoid a powerstruggle with our weyrling queens, and our founding queens. You can't copy the sample you already did for another character but change the names, or a gold's sample that you did.

Also, I will take a long time anylyzing the samples. I might not hand her out at all. At any rate, I'll ask whoever gets her not to ask for a clutch anytime soon, until we're well settled in the routine of the weyr, once weyrling training is over.

Z'll- male- Blue Anth- Fort
Z'll tightened his boot laces, and also tightned his leg support. His left leg had succumbed to Thread as a weyrling, leaving him a severe cripple. He knotted his firestone on the harness, and checked the harness, blue eyes darting. He took his place, scrtambling up Anth's offered arm.
Z'll settled himself in the last two ridges. One gloved hand upraised, he sent his wing up. The fall was an odd one. It fell in clumps, the thickly all over. Anth got scored twice, Z'll twice. Flame searing a large swath, Anth maunevered expertly. Halfway through, he signaled the wnig to the weyr. Not one of the greens or blues in his wings had escaped a score. Dragons rumbled, belching ash all around him. He signaled riders to clean it up, and then pointed the heaslers around him to attend other riders. Smearing Numbweed on Anth's scores, Z'll saw how the clump had scored him. A thick part of the fall had escaped all fire, and scored. He placed another numbweedsoaked towel over his neck. Redwort in hand, he disinfected cuts. His ability to tell a true stayer, and the extent of an injury made him one of the most cautious wingleaders, an attribute the weyrlewaders encouraged.
A healer came over to him. As she fixed his arm, Z'll drank a much needed cup of klah. The hot liquid warmed him, and he shook out a cold stiffened hand.
The healer bandaged his arm, and was about to do more, but he waved angrily in his wingsecond's direction She had been scored three times, pregnancy making her slightly slower in ducking. Her green bellowed for help.
Once all the ash was in the asdh dump, and riders cared for, he signaled everyone to go to their weyrs to get much needed sleep.
As Z'll walked back up to his weyr, he thought about the Fall. If only he had moved a little more, his arms wouldn't be scored. He met his weyrmate halfway. She led him to the weyr, and removed his fighting things. Crawling in bed, he fell asleep almost immediately.
