*~*Gallops back in~*~

She trots slowly back into the edge of the land" on 22:48:52 08/26/01 Sun

She bolts across the land, hooves tearing up the ground beneath, mane and tail whipped back in the wind.
She will not stop - her coat is soaked in sweat, and mud now stains her whole body, her powerful muscles keep her running; hooves pounding across the ground.
As she runs she snorts aloud, and from her expression she is not in a good mood.
Finally, she stops without warning, her hooves digging into the ground for support.
She tosses her head violently, snorting in anger.
She had been a wanderer, a loner for the best part of her life - knowing no stallion's laws, and no boundaries to abide by.
But now she must stay contained in one small area?
The other herds would not allow her to trespass on their land - and there was no land unclaimed to visit either.
It drove her wild, she was no mare that could be "contained", she had always moved on as she had wished before - but now was she expected to be a "good" mare and obey the stallions, never venturing away from home?
Well no stallion had ever managed to tame her soul, and she would not be contained.
When it seems that she may have calmed down, the wild uncontrollable anger flares up once more.
She rears up, and lets out her furious scream. She would NOT be contained, by territory or by stallion!
She drops back down, pawing the ground - unresolved of what now to do.
