Subject: Canton5.......

Thanks for all the info Tom. I am just finishing a PCB layout of Canton5 with Audio on board.Canton lists a PIC16C56-XT on the schematic. This is why I asked the question about the crystal while programing, wich you set me straight on, thankyou. The XT is pre set for 4MGZ. I also noticed that the assembly code file has a command line for a HS type oscilator. This is confusing me. XT=4MGZ and HS=20MGZ. Should I use the PIC16C56-XT or a PIC16C56-HS in Canton5?I was thinking the HS since the code has been compiled with the HS command line setting. My next question is if I use dan's Gill18a code and a PIC16F84A-20 will it run on Canton5?

Thanks again.
Guillet
