I think you're on the right track. I still haven't built a prototype of the C5 but the existing codes should work with the right configuration. The only addition would be the code for switching the Inverted Burst but that will vary by system.

RB1 is associated with the LBD - it should be configured as an input.

On the schematic, the SYNC (RB4) is connected to a 27K resistor on the output side of the 4066. For the code, you want RB4 low during the HSync and high during the rest of the line.
