Subject: VCR with NO IF chip ?

Have a 5 year old Grundig VCR (GV 5300) and can not find the IF chip.

The VCR has 2 cans connected instead of one.
The small can has the ANT IN and OUT connectors with a 16 legged ALPS smt chip, written on it: ALP101 A1 540E73K.
Could not find SPECS.

Second Can larger with a Phillips 16 legged SMT wriiten on it: TSA5512T Does not look like an IF chip.

On the main board there is a Sanyo LA7437A 42 legged video signal processor (spec shows a video in and video out no IF).

How do I connect the 3chip to this VCR?
