I tried assembling that file (rev7a.asm) with MPASMWIN 2.80 and there's an error on the second line IE starts with a colon which should be a semicolon or simply delete the line. It then assembled to exactly the same hex file as the original. You could try changing the oscillator type to HS on the config line.
