It's just a matter of selecting the correct gate in the 4066 to turn on by writing a control byte to portB at the appropriate time IE in the code at 'NORMAL' in MAKEHLINE you'll see MOVLW VIDEO & MOVLW INVERSE where these constants are bit patterns for the 4066 and the correct one is chosen by the state of DOINVERT which is bit 3 of the MODE register.
