Subject: What code with with 16F84 and PIU 1.0?

Hi all,

I am trying to match a HEX code with a board I built . I 'think' is is a "dave" board (not Canton?).

Anyway, the code I used is called; gi_ln18a.asm
; By dturner@rotfl.com/dturner2@bigfoot.com
and does not seem to function..

I have a scope and see signals incoming to the PIC, and a 20 mhz clock bu no other pins( the outputs) are toggling.
Also this ASM is using a TRIS command, no longer used in the 16F84 series.

Does anyone have this working here in the US?

Is there a lastest code for this PCB? (it is the design I found at C:\WINDOWS\Desktop\Gen Folders\3chip\16F84\3Chip Information Page.htm at Dan's layout of Piu rev 1.0 and a file called gi-sch.pdf. The board uses 2 733 amps 1-339,1-4066 and 1-4046. I used a 16F84 using "GI_FULL.sch Nov 1999"

Confused ? (I am)

If anyone knows of a working 16F84 code that goes with the this gi-sch.pdf design I would be greatful to know.

Thanks
Scott
