My provider has not done anything to the burst apart from inverting it so I omitted any corrections for burst attenuation and the colours (for me at least) are perfect. I initially tried the Canton 3 transistor input amplifier/inverter circuit as the LM733 had to be ordered in specially but the results were not as good. The Canton 5 input buffer looks much better as an alternative.
