I'm glad the diode thing works for you, about the enabling
method I'm affraid my box is a newer one (1996) and it does
not have the eprom chips (u601-u602) or the jumper on W602
, but I will folloy their copper traces to see if I can get
somewhere.

I will be contacting you soon on the messengr so we can
discuss a few things.
