Fine, if the level of the video signal is high enough.
Remember you need at least 1Vpp. That's why I added the
transistor, because the LN7530 generates 2Vpp but
the circuit in the VCR lowers that to about 300mVpp,
not enough to drive the 3chip.

Initially you better take the video out directly from
the 3c board, or else you will have problems with the
blue screen and it will be VERY difficult to adjust
the 3c. Believe me, you need to see what is happening.
