Subject: What is my cable box ?

Hello, I have a descrambler and it used to work like 4-5 years ago. I live in the Montreal area and I don't know what kind of descrambler I have. It needs to use a Jerrold converter before the cable goes in the descrambler. Like: cable->converter->descrambler->tv. Here are the chip I have:
PIC16C54-RC/P
UA733CN
CD4052BE
LA7520N
AN193
TA7673P
Someone told me he thinks I have a jerrold system but since I am in Canada and the cable provider is Videotron, I am not sure. Someone else told me I only need to reprogram my pic16c54 with new codes (where to get them) and someone else told me videotron changed to shuffling-line scrambling and I should put my descrambler in the trash can. Please help me identifying this descrambler and tell me how to fix it. Thank you
Maxime
