My Great Uncles William and Joseph, emigrated from Yorkshire
in 1910..Joseph Married Gertrude Giles.
They had A son John David Conning whom died WW2 Defending CRETE 24May 1941,Rank WO2,service No 7263
Joseph Died 1972 Gertude died 1956,
William is belived to have been married to a Wynne
no other information about him is known at this time
any living relatives i would love to heear from them
or if anyone knows where they can be contacted
I should say that Joseph and Gertrude lived in the HOKITIKA
area , on the west coast..
