I would look at Final Cut Pro; it runs about $1000 depending where you buy it. It is fairly complex, I would say--it would be good to take a class. Another one you might try is iMovie which comes installed on many mac computers and it is much simpler than FCP is. That may meet your needs better than FCP, but FCP is awesome in termsof options.
