I was wondering if someone with lots of time on their hands could and would give a description of the differences/advantages/disadvantages of the different video formats. Here's what I'm looking for:
Length of tapes in minutes
Cost of tapes
Horizontal resolution in lines
Overall picture quality (which is better than which?)
Is it considered digital or analog?

Also, see if you can write a short paragraph on each one saying when and why it was introduced to the market. Thanks.
