Skylar. Long blonde hair, even longer legs, eyes bluer and more intense than a cloudless July afternoon. Her facial structure was delicate, worthy of Vogue, but the complete abandon of pretense or arrogance in her expression conveyed her lack of regard for beauty...at least her own beauty. Yes, she was unusual. Her idiosyncrasies were what she embraced.

Now she took a seat close to the dance floor, toying listlessly with the hem of her skirt. She was indifferent to alcohol, but good, loud music supplied a high, a drunkenness, that rivaled anything she had ever experienced.
