Subject: South Jersey Hitting Clinic with former WPSL All-Star

Featured instructor: Michelle Carlson-Neveling, private hitting consultant and former WPSL professional all-star with the Virginia Roadsters. Two-time NFCA National College Player of the Year and twice NJAC Player of the Year (Trenton State College), she was a three-time NCAA All-American and holds 16 NCAA career and season batting records. She is the former head coach at the University of Maryland-Baltimore County and led UMBC to the 2000 Northeast Conference championship.

Details: Sunday, March 2 at the Richard Stockton State College Sports Center, Pomona, NJ. Two Sessions: 10am-12noon for ages 8-12 and 1-3pm or ages 13-18. Camp fee is $40 per person. Campers should bring a favorite bat and batting helmet if they have one and wear sneakers (not cleats). Lectures and demonstrations will be given on the fundamentals and finer points of hitting and bunting. Campers will utilize hitting stations and pitching machine. Michelle will be assisted by members of the Osprey's coaching staff and players.
