In reply to: marisol 's message, "Re: How long does it take for cocketiel eggs to hatch?" on 14:33:57 10/18/05 Tue

if your bird is rolling the egg it is normal.that means when she rolls the egg she wants to keep the warm tempature(which she had layed for protection of warming the egg)around the whole egg for the egg to be healthy or fertile.espiacially,at night its very common.it takes the birdday to night to warm one side of the egg,so at night she rolls it to keep the whole eggs temp. the same.

p.s if you dont see her roll the egg anymore is because the whole egg is warm.but,if its for a long time that she hadnt lay the eggs than that means that the chicks in the egg are growing warmer,so,the chicks do the job.

i had only answer this question because the other person response only answer the otha question instead of this one.
