Subject: Re: how can you tell how old your cockatiel is

Hello, I am wondering how old my Cockatiel is. I do believe it is a female. We got her 3 weeks ago and I have no idea how old she is or anything about her. Is there a way I can tell how old she is and other things, by looking at her? She still will not let us touch her at all and sometimes she does eat millett from me but not out of the palm of my hand, I read last night that if the bird is over 2-3 months of age, u r unable to train her, is that correct? It said to buy a pretty big cage and watch her, because she is to old to learn??
Can u help me w/my bird?
Please and thank you
Linda
Thank you
