I have a female cockatiel don't know the age. This there a way to tell her age? She has laid 8 eggs in the last month. She has no mate and we have no other birds,so I know these eggs are not fertile. I take them out of the cage. Also will this egg laying harm her system? She has a Cuttle Bone in her cage where I assume she is getting the calcium to form these eggs. Is there anything else I can give her to replenish minerals or vitamins she may be losing? I feed her Cockatiel Blend with Vitamin and Mineral Enriched, Natually delicious mix of Seeds, with nuts, fruits, and vegetable. How long will her egg-laying
attitude continue? This is our first bird and I want
to do the right thing for her. She is a happy bird who
chirps, and dance on her birch listen to music all day when I am at work and say pretty bird alot and I enjoy her company. Her cage is 4 feet wide and 4 feet long.
