I have two cocakatiels mating now. They are sitting on four eggs. This is the first time they have ever laid eggs. I purchased a nesting cage and they started to mate immediately. Should I have destroyed the first two eggs? They did not sit on them initially. My hen is 10 years old. Do you think she is too old to be mating? Her bowel habits have changed. She has huge bowel movements. Could this be a sign there is a problem?
