A'dra's birth

We are pleased to announce the arrival of A'dra Peterson. She arrived at 12:11pm on 1/23/2002, weighing in at 5 lb 6 oz and measuring 17 1/2 inches from crown to tiny feet. She was delivered with no complications and quickly let everyone know she was here. She is 32 1/3 weeks and will be spending her time in the Neonatal ICU at Legacy Emmanuel Hospital in Portland, OR. For those of you keeping track, this means that all our children were born on the 23rd of their respective months.

Cheryl will be in the hospital for some time as well. She is being treated for several infections and the kidney stones. All of these working together is what brought us A'dra at such an early time. If you are wanting to visit, please call me or the hospital to make sure that Cheryl is up to it. She is undergoing some testing and evaluation at this time and is not always in her room or feeling like visitors.

Call me if you would like to see A'dra and I can make sure that access is available. She is allowed 3 persons at a time including mom or dad. They also ask that if you are sick that you not visit her bedside. I will be available once in a while to escort those that would like to see her. Sorry everyone, but only Grandparents, Cheryl and I can visit without escort for security reasons.
