Subject: Who's the artist of "Only the hangman is waiting for me"

Hi everyone.

I have an old tape with country music, and now I try to identify the songs on it. In the case of one of the best songs, I failed.

Here's the refrain:
"There's gold in the mountains, gold in the valleys, gold in the rivers and gold in the sea. Fortunes are waiting for men to claim them, but only the hangman is waiting for me".

The end lyrics are "The next one I kill will be my started lover and that's why the hangman is waiting for me"
