Congratulations to Lance & Melissa Hamilton, MS State Directors, for a Wonderful Competition Saturday, October 27, 2001! There was some GREAT competition and it was very hard for the judges I'm sure! I certainly didn't want to be in their shoes! i'm going to try to list all results - I hope I have them right. Please let me know if I don't.
0-18 months:

I'm really sorry that I didn't write down all the optional award winners.

What wonderful entertainment we had from "Neshoba Central High School" - "The Main Attraction" (mixed choir); Center Stage (all girls choir) and Ashley Ellingburg (soloist) under the direction of Julie Cunningham. These young people came all the way down from Philadelphia, MS! Their performances were Fantasitc! We thank you for making our Finals so thrilling!

Jacquelyn Goller (LA)-World's Universal Beauty; Nikki Chinners (FL) -World's Universal Beauty; Shelbe Moses (LA)-World's Universal Beauty; Jordon Fonville-World's Universal Beauty (MS); Jason Felts-World's Most Handsome (MS); Susan Felts-World's Universal Beauty (MS); Briana Harford -World's Universal Beauty (MS); Emily Swonke-World's Universal Beauty (TX); Cheyenne Davis -World's Universal Beauty (TX); Samantha Moiren (AL)-World's Universal Princess; Heather Garrett (MS)-World's Our Little Miss Preteen; Hannah May (MS)-World's Miss LaPetite; E'llise Trosclair (LA)-World's Mini Queen; and Aleda Moore (MS)- World's Universal Girl. You guys did a wonderful job helping.

To the Outgoing MS State Universal Beauty Royalty - You were awesome! Shantel & Rebecca you were an asset on the microphone to help make the show run good......Thank you for a wonderful year Mississippi State Universal Beauties: Savannah McDurmond; Justin Felts; Caitlyn Felts; Emily Gully; Lorin Hamrick; Aleda Moore; Shantel Dixon; and Rebecca McElhenney.

Royalty MOms: you should be very proud of your Queens! You have done an excellent job in preparing them and getting them where they needed to go: Yarasie, Susan, Rhonda, Melanie, Melia, Mary or should I say-Allen?, & Rachel! You are the Best. (MS. Susan I hope you get off those crutches soon)

To the Judges: Caroylyn, Norma & Jan you did a Great Job! (by the way I hope you made it back to Miami, Florida Jan!-she got lost on her way into MS)MS Carolyn & Ms Norma you make me feel so special! You girls are a real HOOT!!

Ms. Cathy & Ms. Stephanie Thank you for such great organization. I'm sure you made Melissa's job easier! Lance, Melissa, Shayna & Alex I thank you for allowing me to share the memories with you at such a wonderful event! Ms. Bobbie Moiren I thank you for traveling with me so I could go.

Let just say, YOU BETTER WATCH OUT WORLD, BECAUSE MISSISSIPPI IS ON THE RISE AGAIN!!!
