If you dance at a dance school, see if they can get involved! It is really simple!
Also, if you had time to add just one or two food banks to the list, that would be amazing. (Go to http://www.danceforsocialchange.com/locator/ and click "Suggest Food Bank" --- it would take you ten minutes to google a local food bank and add it to the list!!!)
Even if you just post in the forum (helps to generate interest!!!) about your experiences with hunger or volunteerism... I would so appreciate it!
I am spokesperson for this wonderful project and we'd like to get involvement on a National level. If you cheerlead, dance, baton twirl, do gymnastics... see if your team or school would consider putting a box for canned food in their venue or collect at a recital, etc. Sign up on the site and register your school/group. It is fun and easy and it's a GREAT CAUSE!!! Hope to see your schools signing up or your forum posts!!!!
