Subject: Quiet Leave

cracks open the door of my cottage, glancing out. Feeling the warmth of the sun hit my face gently. I look out for the guards to bring up my horse. Keeping the door open and listening for the guards, I turn and look at my beautiful cottage thinking back when we first moved in. I take in a deep breath, trying to keep the tears from forming. Walking through the empty cottage once more seeing if I forgot anything. Checking the note I am leaving for Tala on the mantel, reviewing it once again, hoping she and the rest of the tower family will understand my departure. Laying it back gently on the mantel, as I hear the guards coming near the village. I look back once again to my lil cottage as I stop in the entrance way, then turn quietly, thanking the guards for the horse, I lift myself up mounting the horse, placing my bag on the back of the saddle. I move on to the tower gates, the guard opening it for me....riding off on the path towards a village, the breeze catching my hair moving it gently behind me.......
