Subject: Decisions

*Still feeling the tears fall as I head out of the forest and to the edge of wolf lake. Not having the strength to row a boat back across the lake, I decide to open a small portal back to the hall of the Grey Tower. Stepping into the portal and arriving back in the Tower's main hall then walking straight up to my room.*

*Thinking that maybe I can stop the tears before I drift off into sleep, telling myself that in my heart of hearts I know I could never truly give Enari as much of myself as he would want. Knowing how easy it would have been to love him and knowing at the same time that I would have not been willing to share enough of myself with him to be fair. Hoping that he will always regard me as a dear friend as I know that is how I will always regard him. Nodding to myself and quietly calming myself, singing a soft mournful song as I realize I did the right thing. Drifting off into a fitful sleep.*
