Maisematkin ovat kuin luodut THS:n maailmaan. Pitää kyllä joskus päästä itse käymään tuolla Uudessa Seelannissa vai missä niitä nyt kuvattiinkaan. Hobittilan kumpu on myös kuin tehty sitä elokuvaaa varten. Harmi vaan, että elokuvasta on jätetty joitakin kohtauksia pois, kuten Tom Bombadilin luona vierailu.
