In the dark, you can find,
In the shadows of your mind,
All the demons that are there,
They devote them selves to scare
All your sanity away.
You’re never truly alone,
They will always be there to bring you home.
To the prison-like tomb
You call your room.
Your hollow sanctuary in which you hide
Only to confide with yourself
And the lost souls who come from hell,
Just to tell you how worthless and disgusting you are.
But wait! Now there’s more!
Look ahead a golden door,
Of perfection,
Take a look, at the devil in a nook
Of your brain,
Its insane, how you would give it all,
Even knowing you would fall,
Just to seek protection behind that glimmering door
Of perfection.
Your entranced by the door
You fall helplessly to the floor.
Craving the joint,
At which point,
You gaze powerless into the mirror,
Your worst fear and beloved friend.
Will it bring about the end
of your sanity?
